Jim’s philosophy on investing

I believe that investing is a well-covered topic and although there are millions of messages many of which are conflicting each other there are only two things you need to know to become a successful investor: BUY LOW, SELL HIGH. Although this is a tough thesis to dispute, it is not the dominant investment strategy preached and practiced. Instead we have all been told to BUY AND HOLD which ignores one of the two key steps to making money in investing . . . SELL HIGH. For many, BUY LOW SELL HIGH makes sense but it is tough to practice because our emotions get in the way of logic. I believe the key to becoming a successful investor is to develop a logic framework that helps keep emotions in check. This CD captures the essence of my investment philosophy and you can find it in the Retire Happy store. I hope you enjoy!
